Messages from the Moon of your Birth Chart
Discover what your Moon has to tell you according to its position in the birth chart
In the birth chart, the position of the Moon gives us a very important message: there is a part of each one of us that needs to be nourished so that our emotional universe is enriched and thus, we feel contented.
Astrology tells us that there are twelve different ways to feel what we need, depending on the sign in which the Moon is. And it also tells us that, out of twelve, there is a particular direction, an astrological house, where the energy of the Moon seeks to channel itself.
The Moon is nourishing energy.
With the Moon, we speak of the conduit that feeds our spirit. Like the tides, lunar energy comes and goes, creating an emotional experience with the environment.
We tend to project our Moon literally onto the mother figure, and our concept of love and care has more to do with our experience in the family environment than with our essential needs. We must remember that we have acquired these emotional impressions during the first months and years of life - when self-awareness was not yet fully developed.
Therefore, understanding the message of the Moon allows us to leave the subjective reality created in childhood and thus, to grow our emotional awareness from the present. This is a purely individual path. No one really knows what makes us feel good… except ourselves. Becoming aware of this allows us to look for what we really need, without waiting for it to come from outside.
The Moon shows us where our personal needs are met.
The position of the Moon also shows us where we are most vulnerable. The Moon indicates where we find emotional security and, therefore, any setback in this area can activate fears and close us off to the potential indicated by the house where the Moon is located.
Giving yourself what you need can be more or less easy since it depends on the individual maturation process. However, astrology at least helps you find the way.
