New Moon + Eclipse - April 20, 2023

This April 20, the Moon forms a conjunction with the Sun at 29 degrees, 50 minutes from Aries. The astrological house where this conjunction occurs is the area where the energy of the eclipse enters our lives.

Eclipses always occur during the New Moon. The New Moon represents a new life cycle, especially in Aries. Eclipses, however, represent change. It helps us see the parts of ourselves hidden from our awareness. Being in Aries the sign of this eclipse, during this new period that lasts about six months, we have the possibility to see clearly the spontaneous attitudes, the blind impulses, and the temperamental responses that no longer reflect our state of consciousness. The eclipse will allow us to see them... perhaps for the first time! And it can be a period of great personal growth.

This is the second New Moon in Aries in 2023. The first occurred just under a month ago, on the equinox. Jupiter continues to transit Aries. The desire to take the initiative, to start something new, is intensified. With the energy of the eclipse, we have the necessary strength to make the changes we want to make! To follow the path we want to follow!

This can be something as simple as finally giving up sugar or starting that project we've been dreaming of for so long. Aries is a sign of action and courage. Eclipses represent changes. If we let ourselves be carried away by the rush of this energy, we will be able to cross that portal that leads us to a new cycle full of strength and momentum.
