The Tower of Babel and Squares
Not everything that isn't flowing needs to be "fixed."
The Tower of Babel is a biblical story that describes how humanity, speaking a single language, united with the purpose of building a tower that would reach the heavens. God, observing their intentions, confused their languages and dispersed the people across the world, resulting in a multiplicity of languages and the difficulty of universal communication.
One of the reasons I fell in love with astrology is because of the structure of astrological language. Beyond the personal interpretations that each one may offer, we must always rely on specific archetypes that act as a detailed map. That is, Uranus will always be Uranus. Some might see it as 'the great awakener,' others as 'the liberator,' but it would be unusual to refer to Uranus as a soft and subliminal energy, and rightly so.
Everyday communication can be very complicated, especially when we move away from our familiar environment. However, as we venture into less familiar territories, we discover that the same word can have multiple definitions. Take, for example, the word 'love,' which has as many interpretations as there are people in the world.
The same applies to the quadratures in astrology. From my point of view, trying to 'harmonize' the quadratures is like wanting to turn a square into a triangle—literally. Indeed, if this were possible, it would imply changing our natal chart and, metaphorically, creating a new sky in our past. And we already know what happened to the protagonist of 'Back to the Future' when he tried to alter the past...
