Hello and welcome to “Decipher the Natal Chart”!
This is the first post of the paid subscription where we will go into an in-depth exploration of astrological topics.
Before starting to talk about planets, signs, astrological aspects, etc… I think it is good to lay the foundations of my approach. Therefore, this first post will be open to all subscribers of "Astrology for the Everyday Mystic". In this way, you can decide if you are interested in joining the paid subscription.
Let's get started.
The birth chart is a map of ourselves. It does not judge us or tell us what to do, nor is it an act of divination. In reality, the birth chart is a mirror that reflects who we are, including abilities and gifts that we are often unaware of.
Personally, although I observe planetary transits and use other predictive techniques to identify activations of personal processes, in my opinion, the "prediction" of specific events is a subjective act, since everything depends on the individual reality of each one. And this also applies to the astrologer. For this reason, I limit myself to describing the essential energies that trigger these processes.
For this very reason, learning the astrological language is a journey of personal development in itself, as it forces us to shed our prejudices and see each component of the astrological ABCs in an Intrinsically pure way.
The symbology of each planet, sign, and other astrological ingredients is as vast as the universe itself. Just like telescopes that can see up to a certain distance, so is our imagination! Unlike telescopes, our imagination is not limited by hardware and software, but by our own subjectivity.
Subjectivity is the personal and partial perception and appreciation of an issue, idea, thought or culture. Subjectivity is associated with the incorporation of emotions and feelings when expressing ideas, thoughts or perceptions about objects, experiences, phenomena or people.
Liberation from subjective limitations is not an easy task. But hey... I said that the birth chart is a tool for self-knowledge, so we should be able to help ourselves with it, right?
Of course! And therefore, my proposal is to thoroughly explore each planet, house, and aspect in such a way that we can discover the neutrality of their definitions. From my point of view, there are no malefic or benefic planets, bad or good aspects. And this is not sugarcoating astrology, not at all! It is simply to stop seeing it from the polarity that we find in a world lived from two-dimensionality. In this way, I propose astrology in 3D. :)
In other words... behind appearances, there is a story, a motivation, an impulse that leads to evolution. It is life itself that moves through all living things.
In this adventure that we begin today, we are going to dive into the universes of the elements, the modalities, the planets, the astrological houses, and much more!
The objective is that you can understand the astrological language and use it as a self-knowledge tool.
Each month we will investigate a particular topic, which will be presented in the form of text, audio, or video.
I will share with you my own explorations. And together, we will unlock this curious and rich language that is astrology.
You are invited!
