The Different Approaches
Here are the key differences between Esoteric Astrology, Karmic Astrology, Kabbalistic Astrology, and Evolutionary Astrology:
Esoteric Astrology:
Focus: Centers on spiritual evolution across multiple lifetimes and understanding signs and planets in a broader spiritual context.
Features: Utilizes concepts like the Lunar Nodes, the Vertex, and the Part of Fortune to address karmic lessons and spiritual purpose.
Origins: Based on the teachings of Alice A. Bailey and the Tibetan Master Djwhal Khul.
Karmic Astrology:
Focus: Concentrates on karmic lessons the soul must learn across lifetimes and how they are reflected in the natal chart.
Features: Examines elements like the Lunar Nodes, representing karmic lessons and patterns from past lives.
Origins: Doesn't have a specific source; it is a subset of astrology that focuses on karmic issues.
Kabbalistic Astrology:
Focus: Combines astrology with Kabbalah, an esoteric and mystical tradition within Judaism, to gain a deeper understanding of the relationship between the individual and the cosmos through Kabbalistic symbols.
Features: Associates signs and planets with Kabbalistic concepts like Sephirot and Hebrew letters for a unique interpretation of the natal chart.
Origins: Combines astrology with Kabbalah, a Jewish mystical tradition.
Evolutionary Astrology:
Focus: Concentrates on personal growth and evolution throughout the current lifetime.
Features: Analyzes aspects in the natal chart, planetary positions, and transits from the perspective of personal development and life lessons.
Approach: It's not a separate category of astrology but a contemporary approach that builds upon traditional astrology to address personal growth and development.
Each of these approaches has its own unique focus and characteristics, all aiming to provide a deeper understanding of life, purpose, and individual evolution from different perspectives: spiritual, karmic, Kabbalistic, and evolutionary.
